Please reply, We would like to know if anybody got receipt notice (or cheques encashed) and satisfy following criteria:
1) I-140 approved at TSC
2) LUD on I-140 on 07/22, 07/28, 08/05, 08/12 etc...
3) I-485 mailed to NSC during last week of June or early July ?

Viceroy Lord Wavell and his assistants laughed when M.K. Gandhi told them that one day they will be forced to leave India. What they did not understood that they were not politicians, they were bureaucrats. They decided to apply Gandhian way of peaceful protest by sending thousands of flower bouquets to USCIS, an American agency responsible for immigration and citizenship. Instead of offering an apology, USCIS chief decided to again ignore the immigrants and simply issued a statement that the flowers will be forwarded to the injured service members recuperating at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Once again a bureaucrat miscalculated the power hidden behind a peaceful protest. Now the power behind flowers is becoming a media mainstream story. NY Times, Washington Post, Reuters, Yahoo News are a few to name. Bollywood, has recently issued a statement providing its full support to Immigration Voice, the non profit organization behind the flower campaign.
An American way of fighting injustice "A law suit" is on its way, the usual rallies and demonstrations are about to begin. However, in America, its first time after Martin Luther King Jr., that someone has tried to apply Gandhi's way to fight injustice. It is yet not clear that what would be the outcome of this campaign, but there are rumours that USCIS is already discussing internally to reverse the discriminatory decision which resulted in this flower campaign causing enough embarrassement to them.
Its amazing to witness that 60 years after Gandhi's demise, his ideology is still relevant. We are sure its gonna remain relevant till there are Lord Wavell's in this world. Wavell's can momentarily laugh thinking that unorganized immigrants are helpless, but when the peaceful protest will demonstrate its political power, they surely will realize what Gandhi and Gandhian ways are all about.

Mr. Vayalar Ravi , Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs,is coming to USA on June 27,2006. He is coming to Washington DC on July 4 to meet Indian Ambassador and Indian community. We should try to meet him personally and explain the problems we are facing. He can talk to US counterparts and do something for us.
Let us organize an event to meet him on July 4. Since It is a holiday, lot of people can meet him and chat with him.

So, how are u going to help us????
Two weeks back, your priority was to file a law suite against porting from EB3 to EB2.
Now after seeing your own buddies get approval before you, you put the previous plan on hold (sure you have not dropped it) and working on the new item.
All we can do is to send letters to USCIS to expedite the process and give SunnySurya green card at the earliest.
So not only EB3 but EB2 also escape from new issues.
I am with you.

my lawyer just faxed me my I-485 receipt.
Center: NSC
RD: 26th July (sent on 25th July)
ND: 22nd Aug
140 was approved at NSC. No LUDs on my approved I-140 or H1s.
Attorney sent his checks, so don't know whether those checks are cleared or not.
Even though I applied 485, AP, EAD for me and for my wife in the same package, we
received receipt for only my I-495. Hey, I'm not complaining. Just passing this info to you guys.

You have predicted that EB3-India cut of date would become June 2003. But your PD is July 2003. Usually people do not predict that way. They predict their own PD would become current pretty soon.:D
At one end it is bad that USCIS moved back Nebraska Processing date to June 08 2007 (More than one month backword) but it looks like USCIS is preparing itself to kick EB3-India ahead... It is too early to say this confidently.. But my feeling is that USCIS will keep processing dates tied to June 2007 and will kick EB3-India ahead. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Though as per murthy's web site in May bulletin EB3-India dates will remain same, I am feeling that if my guess is correct then at least from June bulletin we will see 2 patterns 1) Nebraka processing date would not move ahead for some months or will

This is for me. For my spouse also it was filed at the same time with same RD. No update on that - Hers was a renewal vs mine was new and she needs it more than me since hers will expire soon.

Per my lawyer,
1. USCIS does not mandate that you must inform when you invoke AC21. You can inform them if and when you get RFE.
2. I strongly believe that we should not accept job offers that is not related to the job you originally applied for. My lawyer says it is usually vague and if USCIS determines other wise I will be in trouble. And for the same reason I am hesitant to accept very good employee offer from my current client.
3. Self employment is ok as long as the requirements are met and that is what is I am doing now.
You are not informing USCIS about it .
So just just accept employment from another employer ..just change the job or is there any paperwork involded like transfer of any documents or GC processing ?

Hey I did 1 year of a PhD paying OUT OF STATE TUTION before I got a waiver with a research group in school. Majority of international students do not get assistantships to go to school. SO THEY PAY TUITION and TAXES after they start to work just like you Mr. GCsucks. You’re taxes go to the war effort and not to fund university research unlike tuition paid by international students. SO THE BACKING FOR THIS IS COMING FROM U.S EDCUTIONAL INSTITUTIONS AS THEY WANT TO ATTRACT MORE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. So please be aware of real facts.
